Legendary Tamil actress Manorama has been admitted in a private hospital in Chennai, following a chest pain. The actress, who is popularly known as Aachi, was reportedly admitted to Apollo Hospital, on Sunday (30 March), after she complained of some discomfort in her chest. Tests have been carried out and doctors have hinted that they might have to perform angioplasty for the actress.  

Manorama, who has starred in over 750 Tamil films, spanning over five decades, is one of the finest female comedians of the southern film industry. She was seen in Suriya-starrer Tamil actioner "Singam 2" last year.
