Lakshmi Ramakrishnan who made her directorial debut with Aarohanam is all set to begin work on her next film. The film has been titled Nerungi va...Muthamidathe! Pia Bajpai of Ko and Goa fame plays the leading lady. Sruthi Hariharan, heroine of Kannad film 'Lucia" will be playing a very interesting character in the film. The film will go on floors from March 27. 

The film deals with an incident that happens on a day during petrol crisis. Thambi Ramaiah, Y. G Mahendran and A.L Alagappan are also part of the cast. Cinematography by Balajee Rangha. Music by Madley Blues. The film will be produced by AVA Productions.

The audio of Maan Karate was launched yesterday at Sathyam Cinemas. Shankar was the chief guest at the event. The audio of Maan Karate was launched amidst much fanfare. During the audio launch function director Shankar said that he is a fan of Anirudh and that is the reason for his presence at the event. He also took the opportunity to appreciate AR Murugadoss for Thuppakki saying that it is one of his favourite films.

Siva Karthikeyan and Hansika play the lead roles in Maan Karate directed by debutante Thirukumaran. The film is produced by Escape Artists Motions Pictures and AR Murugadoss.
