Bala ropes in Varu Sarathkumar
Bala is all set to begin work on his next film after Paradesi. Sasikumar will play the lead role. Varu Sarathkumar of 'Poda Podi' fame has been signed as the female lead. There were earlier reports that Shriya has been approached for the leading lady. Looks like Bala has finalised Varu for his upcoming film which is based on the popular folk dance Karagattam.
Ilayaraja is scoring the music. The film is likely to go on floors on March 1.

Vijay Sethupathi turns dialogue writer!!!
Vijay Sethupathi is one of the busiest actor in Kollywood. He is set to don the producer's hat for a project titled 'Aarange Mittai'. The project will be helmed by renowned international filmmaker Biju Viswanath who also happens to be a cinematographer, screenwriter and producer. The film will be jointly produced by Vijay Sethupathy Productions and Common Man Productions.
Aarange Mittai will go on the floors on March 15. The cast includes Jayaprakash, Ramesh of Soodhu Kavvum fame and Arumugham of Pannaiyarum Padminiyum fame. Aswitha plays the female lead. Interestingly Vijay Sethupathi has penned the dialogues as well. Music score by Justin Prabakaran.
It's a wrap for Vaa Deal!
Arun Vijay and Karthika Nair play the lead roles in Vaa Deal directed by debutant Siva Gnanam. The film shooting will be wrapped today. Arun Vijay tweeted, "The last and final day shoot for Vaa Deal today."
The film has been in the making for a long time. Sathish, Suja Varunee, Vamsi Krishna and Jayaprakash will be playing pivotal roles. The racy action entertainer is produced by Feather Touch Entertainment. Deal is a mega budget production which is packed with action, comedy and romance. Music by Thaman.
