Atharvaa's Idhayam Murali is set to premiere on Netflix on August 7, nearly a month after its July 10 theatrical release. The film, which earned close to Rs 25 crore worldwide, will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

Directed by Aakash Baskaran in his filmmaking debut, the romantic drama pays tribute to Atharvaa's late father Murali and his 1991 classic Idhayam, exploring the bittersweet journey of unrequited love. The film received mixed to positive reviews, with praise for its music, performances and nostalgic atmosphere. It also features Fahadh Faasil in an extended cameo and marks composer Thaman's return to acting after 22 years.
