GV Prakash Kumar has announced a collaboration with Sony for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, composing a special Spider-Man Anthem set to release on Monday, July 27. The film itself opens in theatres on July 30.

The collaboration is notable as GV Prakash follows in the footsteps of his uncle AR Rahman, who composed a Marvel Anthem for Avengers: Endgame in 2019.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and marks the beginning of a new Spider-Man trilogy. Tom Holland returns as the titular hero alongside Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, with new additions including Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando and Sadie Sink.
