The trailer for Arulvaan places education at its heart, opening with a young tribal girl approaching her district collector to bring schooling to her mountain community. Arulnithi plays the collector who commits to fulfilling her request, battling odds to keep his promise. A standout line from Ramya Pandian's character cuts to the core of the story: "Even if one person from our clan was educated, we wouldn't be facing exile from our own land."

Inspired by a true story, the nearly two-minute trailer establishes a gripping, emotionally charged narrative that the makers describe as "raw, emotional, and hard-hitting." The film reunites Arulnithi with director Ganesh Vinayakan, 13 years after Thagaraaru. The cast also includes Aarav, Baby Krithika, Kaali Venkat and John Vijay.

GV Prakash composes the music, with M Sukumar on cinematography and Lawrence Kishore editing. Backed by 90 Pictures, Arulvaan releases in theatres on July 17.
