Nooru Saami, starring Vijay Antony and Swasika, has received a glowing endorsement from director H Vinoth ahead of its June 19 release. Calling it one of the best films of the year, Vinoth wrote, "The movie was really, very very good. A must watch film in theatres! Superb! Fantastic!"

The praise carries added weight given Vinoth's track record with Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Nerkonda Paarvai, Valimai, and Thunivu. It is worth noting that Vinoth himself is currently in a difficult spot, still awaiting the release of Jana Nayagan, CM Vijay's final film, over which he recently said he lacks the courage to even speak publicly.

Directed by Sasi, Nooru Saami reunites him with Vijay Antony after Pichaikkaaran (2016). The film follows a woman ostracised by her community for actions they deem disgraceful, with Swasika playing the central role. The supporting cast includes Lijomol Jose, Ajay Dhishan, Karunas, Balaji Sakthivel, Aruldoss, and Munishkanth among others. Vijay Antony produces through his Vijay Antony Film Corporation banner, with his late daughter Meera credited as presenter. The film releases in Tamil as Nooru Saami and in Telugu as Vanda Devullu on June 19.
