In an emotional video shared on Instagram, a visibly distraught RJ Balaji broke down in tears as he addressed the chaos surrounding Karuppu's release day. Apologising to fans who had travelled from far and wide to catch the film, the director promised that the issues would be resolved by 6 PM, paving the way for evening and night shows worldwide.
"I am really sorry to all the fans. It shouldn't have happened. You all had travelled from afar to watch the movie. We watch films to let go of our stress — but you all shouldn't have experienced stress in going to watch a movie. I am very sorry," he said, visibly emotional.
