BREAKING: Toxic Postponed Again - Eyes Bigger Global Release Date

PUBLISHED DATE | 29/Apr/2026

In a major development, actor-producer Yash has announced that Toxic — A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups will not be releasing on its previously announced date of June 4. In a statement shared on social media, Yash revealed that the team is currently aligning global distribution and partnerships, prompting a recalibration of the release timeline.

"Toxic is complete," Yash confirmed, putting to rest any speculation about the film's production status. The delay, he clarified, is a deliberate strategic decision to ensure the film reaches its fullest potential on a globally aligned date.

The announcement comes on the back of the film's presentation at CinemaCon, where it reportedly received an overwhelming global response — further reinforcing the makers' belief that Toxic deserves a worldwide release of significant scale.

"At a time when Indian cinema is finding its voice and stepping onto the global stage, each of us has a responsibility to raise the bar," Yash wrote, adding that as an actor-producer, he sees this as an opportunity to do his part for Indian cinema at large.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas and written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. A new release date is expected to be announced soon.
