Actor Jiiva added his voice to the chorus of film personalities encouraging voter turnout on Tamil Nadu Assembly Election day. Speaking to ANI, he said, "It is our responsibility to vote. I request all youngsters to come out of their comfort zone and vote. I am sure the state will benefit from this."

Interestingly, the polling day falls just a day after the 15th anniversary of Jiiva's political thriller Ko (2011), directed by KV Anand — a film that itself revolved around youth, politics, and electoral conspiracy.

Tamil Nadu voters can cast their ballots from 7 AM to 6 PM today, with results announced on May 4.
