GV Prakash's comedy entertainer Happy Raj is all set for its OTT debut, with the makers confirming a premiere on Prime Video on April 24.

Directed by debutant Maria Raja Elanchezian, the film stars Sri Gouri Priya as the female lead and George Maryan in a key role. The film also marked the return of Abbas to the screen after a long sabbatical, playing a pivotal character.

Happy Raj follows Anandraj aka Happy Raj (GV Prakash), a young man burdened by his father's social stigma, who moves to Bengaluru seeking a fresh start. There he meets Kavya, and as their bond grows into love, the prospect of marriage throws their contrasting worlds into conflict — a clash of class differences, cultural gaps, and the search for self-worth.

The film opened in theatres on March 27 to a mixed but largely positive reception. Produced by Jayavardhanan and co-produced by Jaikanth Suresh, the technical crew includes composer Justin Prabhakaran, cinematographer Madhan Christopher, editor Selva RK, and art director Kumar Gangappan.
