Following the incident, the makers have issued a strong warning against sharing or circulating the video. They stated that their anti-piracy team is actively monitoring the situation and that strict action, including suspension of accounts, will be taken against those involved in spreading the clip.

Produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures, Jailer 2 marks Nelson’s return as director, with Anirudh composing music. The sequel brings back key cast members including Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Vinayakan, while also adding new faces like Vijay Sethupathi and Jatin Sarna.
