The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have officially announced that the film’s release has been postponed. In a press statement issued by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the team cited prevailing global uncertainties, particularly in the Middle East, as the reason for rescheduling the film.
Headlined by Yash and directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic was initially slated for release on March 19. However, the makers stated that the current situation has impacted their goal of reaching the widest possible global audience. Emphasising that the decision was made in the interest of their partners and viewers, they described it as a “difficult but carefully considered” move.
The film, shot in Kannada and English, has been envisioned as a global cinematic project aimed at connecting with audiences worldwide. The team expressed gratitude for the patience and support of fans.
Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups will now release in cinemas globally in English and Indian languages on June 4, 2026.
