Actor Suraj Venjaramoodu has expressed immense excitement about being part of Jailer 2, the sequel to the 2023 hit starring Rajinikanth. Speaking to the media, Suraj said the film has shaped up exceptionally well and even hinted that it may surpass the first instalment.

“Jailer 2 has come out really well… Even better than Part 1. I just wanted to meet Rajini sir, but I got the opportunity to work with him. He surprises us in every shot… He’s a magician,” Suraj shared, describing his experience of acting alongside the superstar as a dream come true.

The sequel marks Suraj’s first collaboration with Rajinikanth. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has completed production and is currently in post-production, with a planned release in mid-2026.
