Filmmaker Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s upcoming directorial venture has officially gone on floors with the Kannan Ravi Group backing the project. The makers announced on Friday that composer Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music for the yet-to-be-titled film, marking his second collaboration with the director after Vai Raja Vai.

Aishwarya made her directorial debut with 3 and later helmed films including Vai Raja Vai and Lal Salaam, which featured an extended cameo by Rajinikanth. She also directed the documentary Cinema Veeran, based on stunt artistes in Tamil cinema.

Billed as KRG Group’s Production No. 9, the upcoming film is planned as a grand multilingual release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi, and is described by the makers as a wholesome commercial entertainer. Further details regarding the cast, genre and release timeline are expected to be announced soon.
