Music composer Anirudh Ravichander has shared his thoughts on the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in music production, calling it a powerful tool that is shaping the future of cinema.

Speaking about technological advancements, Anirudh said AI has evolved rapidly and its impact depends on how creators choose to use it. He revealed that AI was used in Vettaiyan to recreate the voice of legendary singer Malaysia Vasudevan.

Highlighting how far the technology has progressed in just a year, he added that AI can now transform a single voice into multiple variations, even generating different vocal pitches. Calling it an “early bird” phase, Anirudh stated that AI usage will soon become common across the industry as filmmakers and musicians continue to explore its possibilities.
