Filmmaker Soundarya Rajinikanth has expressed strong optimism about the future of animation-driven films in India. Responding to a question on whether audiences can expect films like  Kochadaiiyaan now, she said she is very eager to explore such projects again.

Soundarya noted that when Kochadaiiyaan was made twelve years ago, the technology available was limited, but the scenario has changed significantly today. She highlighted that animated films of this nature perform exceptionally well in countries like Japan and China, and believes India is now moving in a similar direction.

Referring to Mahavatar Narsimha, she said the film has opened new doors for animation filmmaking in India. According to Soundarya, the current ecosystem is highly supportive of such ventures, giving her confidence that many more animation-based films will emerge in the future.
