Parasakthi starring Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela, Atharvaa, is a Sudha Kongara directed Tamil movie which releases on January 14, 2026 marking the Pongal week in Tamil Nadu. Produced by Dawn Pictures, Parasakthi is a period drama that is set in 1960s Tamil Nadu, and an immersive exhibition was set up at Chennai's Valluvar Kottam as a part of the film's promotions.
'The World of Parasakthi' immersive exhibition at Valluvar Kottam is now open longer, extended all the way till December 25, 2025 (Thursday). What began as a limited-time, four-day experiential expo has turned into a full-fledged festive attraction, as crowds continue to flock in to soak up the film’s 1960s-inspired world.

From meticulously recreated period sets and props to vintage frames and character installations, every corner of this exhibition is designed to transport visitors straight into the heart of Parasakthi’s Madras (former name of Chennai). Fans can walk through streets, tents, and houses modeled on the movie’s production design, making it feel less like a promo and more like stepping onto a live film set.
With entry kept free and doors open from 12 PM to 10 PM, Valluvar Kottam has turned into a buzzing hub for cinema lovers, students, and families eager to experience this one-of-a-kind film world.

Parasakthi is actor Sivakarthikeyan's 25th film, and music composer GV Prakash Kumar's 100th movie. The film also releases in theaters worldwide in dubbed Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam versions. Parasakthi has production design by M.R. Karthik Rajkumar, and art direction by S. Annadurai.
