Two weeks ago, we had reported that promotions for Thalapathy Vijay’s political action thriller Jana Nayagan would begin in November, ahead of its Pongal 2026 release on January 9, 2026.

Now, fresh buzz suggests that the team is gearing up for a major update next week — likely to be the first single or a special promo clip. While the makers haven’t made an official confirmation, sources indicate that the update will mark the beginning of the film’s promotional campaign.

Directed by H. Vinoth, Jana Nayagan features Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, and Gautham Vasudev Menon, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

With anticipation building, fans are eagerly waiting to see whether the team will drop a chartbuster single or offer a sneak peek into this highly awaited political thriller.
