Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra OTT Release Date

Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, a Malayalam-language superhero fantasy directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan under Wayfarer Films, will soon be available on JioHotstar a after an incredible theatrical run.

The film’s record-breaking release on August 28, 2025 earned over ₹300 crore worldwide, making it the highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2025 and one of the top Indian films of the year.

The OTT premiere date is yet to be confirmed, with the team considering either an October 17 or October 31 slot for release.

The movie stars Kalyani Priyadarshan as the superheroine Chandra and blends traditional folklore with modern superhero themes. It received critical acclaim for its visuals, storyline, and the lead’s performance.

It will be available in multiple languages: Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.
