Unni Mukundan to Play PM Modi in Biopic Maa Vande

On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, the ambitious biopic "Maa Vande" was officially announced, with Malayalam star Unni Mukundan set to play the Honourable Prime Minister. The film promises to showcase Modi’s journey from childhood to national leadership, highlighting his bond with his mother Heeraben.

Produced by Veer Reddy under Silver Cast Productions, the film is directed by Kranthi Kumar and features top talents including DOP Senthil Kumar (Baahubali), editor Sreekar Prasad, production designer Sabu Cyril, action director King Solomon, and music composer Ravi Basrur (KGF, Salaar).

"Maa Vande" will release pan-India in multiple languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Gujarati, Marathi, and English – with high-end VFX and international production values.

The film was announced with birthday wishes to PM Modi and a message of revived glory for the nation. Unni Mukundan shared his gratitude for playing Modi, calling the experience an honour and quoting the PM’s motto: "Jhookvanu Nahi" (Never Bow Down).
