MovieCrow has exclusively learnt that in a surprising development, actor Vikram’s upcoming collaborations with directors C. Premkumar (Chiyaan 64) and Madonne Ashwin (Chiyaan 63) have been shelved. The projects, which were initially announced under Vels Film International and Shanthi Talkies respectively, will continue as planned but with new directors stepping in.

Actor Vikram has decided to introduce two debut filmmakers in place of directors C Prem Kumar and Madonne Ashwin for Chiyaan 64 and Chiyaan 63 respectively. One of them is lyricist Vishnu Edavan, who was supposed to debut as a director with a Nayanthara, Kavin starrer film but that production is now delayed as Nayanathara has since opted out of the movie.

The second debutant to direct actor Vikram, is expected to be revealed soon.
