Mamitha Baiju's Special Poster Unveiled, Gears Up for Major Tamil Releases

Mamitha Baiju, the talented Malayalam actress, is stepping into the Tamil film industry with a strong lineup of big projects. On her birthday, a special character poster from her upcoming film "Dude" was released, calling her “the heartthrob” and showcasing her in a bold and assertive look. She plays a confident character named Kural in the romantic action comedy, co-starring Pradeep Ranganathan, directed by Keerthiswaran and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, set for a Diwali 2025 release in five languages.

Mamitha will also be seen alongside Thalapathy Vijay in "Jana Nayagan", directed by H. Vinoth, releasing on January 9, 2026. Though the film is rumored to be Vijay’s last before entering full-time politics, Mamitha shared that he hasn’t confirmed it yet. The final day of shooting was emotional, with Vijay too moved to take photos with the team.

She also lands a dream role opposite Suriya in "Suriya 46", directed by Venky Atluri. The big-budget film features Raveena Tandon and Radhika Sarathkumar, with music by G.V. Prakash Kumar and cinematography by Nimish Ravi. Produced by Sithara Entertainments, it marks Mamitha’s first full-length collaboration with Suriya.
