The India-Pakistan military conflict in the aftermath of the April 22 Pahalgam Terror Attack, had prompted team Thug Life to postpone their audio event, and now the Thug Life audio launch is all set to take place at Sai Ram College, Chennai on May 24, 2025.

In lieu of the re-starting promotions for the Thug Life movie, an epic selfie from actors Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, and music composer AR Rahman has been shared. Thug Life is written and directed by ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam, and the movie marks his reunion with Kamal Haasan 38 years since Nayakan (1987).

A joint production venture of Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies, Thug Life releases in theaters on June 5, 2025. Currently, Thug Life is headed for a 2 minute and 3 second trailer release on May 17, 2025, at 5 PM.
