Jailer 2 starring Rajinikanth in the lead is an upcoming sequel action written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, and produced by Sun Pictures. MovieCrow learns that the makers are currently planning a shooting schedule in Kerala, where massive sets are in the works of being erected. 

Jailer 2's Kerala schedule begins on April 10, 2025 at Attappadi. Rajinikanth’s portions for the Kerala schedule are expected to be completed within 15 to 20 days.
