Trailer of Maranamass Unveiled- Basil Joseph Leads a Darkly Humorous Thriller

The trailer for the Malayalam film Maranamass, starring Basil Joseph, has been unveiled, offering a gripping mix of dark humor and action. Directed by debutant Sivaprasad and co-produced by Tovino Thomas, the film delves into a series of serial killings reminiscent of the notorious Ripper Chandran case in Kerala. Basil Joseph takes on the role of an unconventional protagonist with quirky mannerisms, injecting comedy into the suspenseful narrative.

Blending humor with thrilling elements, Maranamass promises a unique cinematic experience. The ensemble cast includes Suresh Krishna, Babu Antony, Rajesh Madhavan, Anishma Anilkumar, and Puliyanam Poulose. Neeraj Revi helms cinematography, Jai Unnithan composes the music, and Chaman Chacko is in charge of editing.

Scheduled for release on April 10, 2025, during the Vishu festivities, Maranamass will clash at the box office with Mammootty’s Bazooka and Naslen K Gafoor’s Alappuzha Gymkhana.
