Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu's 'Maareesan' Set for July 2025 Release

Maareesan, starring Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu, is officially set to hit theaters in July 2025. Directed by Sudheesh Shankar, the film is described as a travel thriller and is produced by RB Choudary under the banner of Super Good Films, marking their 98th production.

Maareesan has generated significant buzz as it brings together two powerhouse performers for the second time. Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu previously collaborated in Mari Selvaraj’s critically acclaimed socio-political drama Maamanan, which was both a box-office success and a critical hit.

Alongside Fahadh and Vadivelu, the film features a talented supporting cast, including Vivek Prasanna, Renuka, and Sithara. Music for Maareesan is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with cinematography handled by Kalaiselvan Sivaji. The film’s editing is entrusted to Sreejith Sarang, while Mahendran takes charge of art direction.
