Sookshmadarshini (meaning microscope) is a Malayalam language black comedy mystery thriller starring Nazriya Fahadh and Basil Joseph in the lead. The movie released in theaters on November 22, 2024 and is now all set for a digital premiere. Disney Plus Hotstar has officially announced that the Sookshmadarshini OTT release date is January 11, 2025 (Saturday).

Sookshmadarshini will stream in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada languages, with subtitles. The movie's story follows four neighbourhood friends lead by Priyadarshini (Nazriya Fahadh), who senses something amiss with Manuel (Basil Joseph), a new neighbour who has moved into their locality with his elderly mother. 

What happens when Priyadarshini's nosiness gets the best of her is what forms the rest of Sookshmadarshini. The movie has screenplay by Libin TB, Athul Ramachandran, and is directed by MC Jithin. 

Deepak Parambol plays Antony, Nazriya's husband while Akhila Bhargavan as Sulu, Pooja Mohanraj as Asma, and Merin Philip as Stephy play her friends and neighbours. Sharan Velayudhan has handled the cinematography,  Christo Xavier the music, and Chaman Chakko the edits of Sookshmadarshini.
