As reported previously, actor Soori's next film as lead starring Aishwarya Lekshmi opposite him has been titled Maaman, and the film went on floors with a pooja ceremony in Trichy, Tamil Nadu.Written and directed by Prashanth Pandiaraj, who has a GV Prakash film titled Bruce Lee (2017), and a Vemal starrer crime thriller Zee5 OTT series titled Vilangu (2022) to his credit, Maaman is a production venture of Lark Studios. 

The technical crew of Maaman includes Hesham Abdul Wahab for music, Dinesh Kumar Purushothaman for cinematography, G Durairaj for art direction, Ganesh Siva for edits, Mahesh Mathew for stunt choreography, Dinesh Ashok for publicity design, and Think music India as the audio label.
