Miracles do happen - Rajinikanth
Superstar Rajinikanth is among the 25 Indians who were accorded the NDTV Living Legend awards. President Pranab Mukherjee honoured the awardees for their service in their respective fields, at an event held in Rashtrapati Bhawan on 14 December. Super Star Rajinikanth topped the list in the first place in top 25 Greatest Living Legend Indians.
Apart from Rajinikanth, the list of awardees includes Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan AR Rahman, Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, Ratan Tata, Mukesh Ambani, Infosys founder Narayana Murthy, Leander Paes, Amartya Sen, Zubin Mehta and geneticist MS Swaminathan.
Speaking at the event, Rajinikanth said his journey from working as a bus conductor to a superstar proves that miracles do happen. He thanked the president and NDTV for choosing him as one among 25 living legends. Rajini also thanked Tamil fans for their love and affection.

Bharath to romance Nandita!
Bharath and Nandita of Attakathi and Ethir Neechal fame will be playing the lead roles in a comedy entertainer to be directed by Ravichandran, an associate of Boopathy Pandian. The film shooting will commence in January.
Jayaram in Bhagayaraj's film
Veteran actor-director K.Bhagyaraj is playing the lead role in a political film titled 'Thunai Mudhalvar' directed by Vivekanandan. The film shooting has started. Shweta Menon has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Bhagyaraj. The latest to join the cast is Mollywood actor Jayaram.
Simbu happy with Kural's work
Simbu is simultaneously shooting for both Gautham Menon and Pandiraj's film. The second schedule of Gautham Menon's film is currently in progress. Pallavi Subhash plays the female lead. Music by AR Rahman.
Simbu will start shooting for Pandiraj's film from December 20. Simbu's brother Kuralarasan is scoring the music. The song recording is currently in progress. Simbu has tweeted, "Recording of Pandiraj film first song going on. Sounding really good. Kural is doing a good job. Happy me" The film is produced by Simbu and Nayanthara pairs opposite him.
Lingusamy's Goli Soda Theatrical Trailer
Goli Soda is directed by cinematographer turned director Vijay Milton. The film stars 'Pasanga' fame Kishore, Pandi, Sree Raam, Murugesh in lead roles. The film narrates the story of four boys who work and live together in Koyambedu market. The distribution rights of Goli Soda has been acquired by Lingusamy's Thirrupathi Brothers.
Making video of Mahaabali featuring Rana Daggubati
SS Rajamouli of 'Magadheera' and 'Eega' fame is currently busy with the shooting of his next period film 'Baahubali' (Mahaabali in Tamil). Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Daggubati Rana play the lead roles. Sathyaraj plays a pivotal role in the film. Keeravani is composing the music. The makers of Baahubali have unveiled a making video of the film on the occasion of Rana Daggubati's birthday. The film will hit the screens in the year 2015.
