The teaser of Vaa Vaathiyaar, actor Karthi’s upcoming Tamil film with director Nalan Kumarasamy, was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday. The movie with Santhosh Narayanan for music unveils Karthi as a fun cop, and gives glimpses of actor Karunakaran as a cop, Sathyaraj as villain, Rajkiran as Karthi's MGR loving grandfather, and a retro Anand Raj. 

A production venture of Studio Green, Vaa Vaathiyaar also stars Krithi Shetty in the lead. The film's technical crew includes George C. Williams for cinematography, D.R.K.Kiran for production design, Vetre Krishnan for edits, ‘Anl’ Arasu for action, Vishnu Govind for audiography, Vivek, Muthamil for lyrics, and Sandy / M Sherif for choreography.
