Biriyani Censored 

Biryani directed by Venkat Prabhu starring Karthi, Premji and Hansika is one of the most expected films. It will hit the screens on December 20. 

The film had been initially censored with an U/A certificate. The makers had approached the revising committee to get an 'U' certificate so that the film can get entertainment tax exemption. The revising committee after watching the film has recommended U/A certificate initially given by the Censor Board. The film will now release with an U/A certificate.

Venkat Prabhu has tweeted, "Biriyani gets a U/A!!! Releasing 20th Decemeber'13 in both languages Tamil and Telugu!! Bon appetite!!"  The makers will have to pay 30% of gross collection as entertainment tax as the film has been censored with U/A certificate.

Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and camera is cranked by Sakthi Saravanan. The film is produced by Studio Green who will also be distributing the film as well.
