Jiiva to team up with Samuthirakani

Jiiva to team up with Samuthirakani

Jiiva is currently shooting for Ravi K Chandran's directorial venture 'Yaan' and is eagerly awaiting the release of Endrendrum Punnagai which is set to hit the screens on December 20. If sources are to believed, Jiiva will be teaming up with director Samuthirakani for a new project. The project is likely to begin early next year. The film will be produced by Senthil and Ganesh who had earlier produced Bharath starrer Koodal Nagar.

Siva Karthikeyan and Hansika off to Pondy

Siva Karthikeyan and Hansika play the lead roles in Maan Karate directed by AR Murugadoss's former assistant Thirukumaran. The team is currently shooting a song sequence in Pondy. Music by Anirudh. Siva Karthikeyan has tweeted, "Maan Karate song shoot with Hansika in Pondy. Same place where we shot Ethir Neechal Boomi song. Again semma song from Anirud."

The film is produced by Escape Artist Motion Pictures. A. R. Murugadoss has written the story and screenplay for the film.

It's a wrap for Simbu

Simbu is simultaneously shooting for both Pandiraj and Gautham Menon's film. Simbu has tweeted, "Finished two major schedules at a stretch for both pandi raj and gautham's film." The actor who was shooting continuously day and night for both the films suddenly fell ill during the shoot and is now recovering from his illness. He will be resuming shoot after five days. 

Nayanthara plays the lead in Pandiraj's film which is a romantic comedy. The film is produced by Simbu. The leading lady for Gautham's film is yet to be finalised. The film is produced by Gautham Menon's Photon Kathas.
