Karthi loses weight for his new film!

Karthi is currently busy shooting for his next untitled film directed by Ranjith of Attakathi fame. The film shooting is progressing at a brisk pace. The director has asked Karthi to lose weight and sport a slim look. Karthi has been hitting the gym regularly to reduce his weight and also follows a strict diet. Karthi plays the role of a guy who lives in North Chennai. Catherine Tresa plays the female lead. Music by Santhosh Narayanan. Film is produced by Studio Green.

Karthi's Biriyani is set to hit the screens on December 20.

Anirudh confirms Vignesh Shivan's film

Vignesh Shivan of Poda Podi fame is all set to begin work on his next film to be produced by Gautham Menon's 'Photon Kathas'. Gautham Karthik has been roped in to play the lead role. Anirudh will score the music. Anirudh has tweeted, "Happy to score music for 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' directed by Vignesh Shivan." The leading lady is yet to be finalised. The film will start rolling from January 2014.

Atharva and Sridivya team up!

Atharva and Sridivya will be playing the lead roles in a film titled 'Eetti' to be directed by débutante Ravi Arasu. The film will be jointly produced by Vetrimaran and Michael Rayappan of 'Global Infotainmnet Pvt Ltd’. Imman will be scoring the music. 

Atharva is currently busy shooting for Irumbu Kuthirai produced by AGS Entertainments. Sri Divya will be teaming up with GV Prakash for Pencil and Vishnu Vishal for Suseenthiran's 'Veera Dheera Sooran'.
