Gangster action thriller Leo starring Vijay in the lead is inspired from the graphic novel A History of Violence (1992) and follows the story of a café owner named Parthiban who is settled in the Shimla town of Theog in Himachal Pradesh. What Parthiban has been hiding for 20 years is his dark past as a deadly gangster in this Lokesh Kanagaraj directed movie. 

A sneak peek video from Leo has now released which gives us a glimpse of this Parthiban duality, which even his close family friend Joshy (Gautham Vasudev Menon) is unaware of. Leo is a production venture of 7 Screen Studios and released in theaters on October 19, 2023. The movie also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Madonna Sebastin, Mysskin among others.
