Leo: Bloody Sweet is an upcoming Tamil language action thriller starring actor Vijay in the lead. The movie written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by 7 Screen Studio, is scheduled to release in theaters on October 19, 2023. Even with 2 whole months left before the film's release, promotions for Leo seem to have begun in full swing. On one hand Leo's lead stars Vijay and Trisha have been keeping fans fed with pictures of their European holiday (team Leo seems to have taken a joint vacation post the film's wrap).

On the other, Leo's UK distributors Ahimsa Entertainment have kickstarted the promotional campaign with the film's banners on London buses.

A multi-starrer with names like Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin, Priya Anand, Arjun Sarja, Anurag Kashyap, Gautham Menon among others, Leo has Anirudh for music. Speaking to the Bollywood media recently, Anurag Kashyap has revealed how his casting came about in Leo and what his character entails.
The actor-filmmaker has been quoted as saying, "I put out in the universe that I have a fantasy to have this amazing sequence in a Lokesh Kanagaraj film. Then Lokesh saw the interview, and called to say, ‘Sir come, I have written something for you’. See if you are a cinephile and you love something, the filmmakers also like and appreciate that. So it was a great experience,”
