Teddy written and directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan is a 2021 fantasy action Tamil film which follows the story how a human soul gets transferred into a Teddy bear, intertwining with the life of the protagonist. This movie has been remade in Telugu by the same production banner i.e. Studio Green, under the title Buddy.  

First look poster and teaser of Buddy featuring Allu Sirish alongside the animated teddy bear was unveiled today. The Telugu version is written and directed by Sam Anton and Netflix holds the OTT rights to the film. The technical crew of Buddy includes Hiphop Tamizha for music, Krishnan Vasant for cinematography and Ruben for edits. 

Junglee Music holds the audio rights to Buddy, which is scheduled to release in theaters this year.
