A year and plus ago, news of director Nelson Dilipkumar teaming up with actor Dhanush had surfaced. Back then it was suggested that if all goes well, the actor-filmmaker duo will be teaming up on a new project post Captain Miller and Jailer respectively.

MovieCrow hears this collaboration between Dhanush and Nelson Dilipkumar is almost finalized, as both gear up for the release of their respective movies. While Jailer directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and starring Rajinikanth in the lead is gearing up to hit theater screens on August 10, 2023, Captain Miller directed by Arun Matheswaran and starring Dhanush in a 1930s role will have its first look release in June & trailer release in July, 2023. 

An official announcement on the Dhanush, Nelson Dilipkumar project is expected to be made soon.
