After weeks of speculation, it has now been officially confirmed that Atlee directed Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is getting a postponed release in theaters worldwide. The movie which is touted to be an action thriller will be releasing on September 7, 2023 [Thursday] instead of its previous schedule of June 2, 2023.

Jawan also starring Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Vijay (in a cameo) among others, will be releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. Jawan is a production venture of Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and the film has Anirudh for music.
