Manoj Bajpai and Vidyut in Suriya Lingusamy film

Manoj Bajpai and Vidyut in Suriya Lingusamy film

Lingusamy is all set to begin the shooting of his untitled film with Suriya and Samantha in the lead roles. Manoj Bajpai of Samar fame will play the villain in this action thriller. Thuppakki fame Vidyut Jamal will be seen in a pivotal role in the film.

The film shooting will commence on November 20 in Mumbai. The first schedule will go on for about 25 days. The photo shoot for the film will happen in Chennai this week. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Camera is handled by Santosh Sivan.

Lakshmi Rai out of Irumbu Kuthari!

Atharva and Priya Anand play the lead roles in Irumbu Kuthirai. The film touted to be an action entertainer is directed by Yuvaraj. Atharva plays the role of a bike racer. Lakshmi Rai who was roped in for a pivatol role is said to have opted out of the project for unknown reasons. London based Joshna has replaced Lakshmi Rai. She has also started shooting for her portions.

The team had recently shot few songs and important scenes in Italy. Music by GV Prakash. The cast also includes Johnny Tri Nguyen of '7am Arivu' fame, Manobala and Jagan. The film is produced by AGS Entertainments.

Vijay Sethupathy's Rummy postponed

Rummy starring Vijay Sethupathy, Inigo Prabakaran, Gayathrie, Aishwarya and Soori is directed by debutant director Balakrishnan. Rummy is a village-based, college love story set in the backdrop of 1980s. The film was initially slated for release on November 14. The film release has now been pushed to December and is likely to hit the screens in the first week of December. Music by Imman. JSK Film Corporation has acquired the distribution rights of the film.

Madhoo makes a comeback with Balaji Mohan's film

Madhoo of 'Roja' fame is returning to the Tamil industry with Balaji Mohan's second film 'Vaayai Moodi Pesavum'. She was last seen in a special appearnce in Narumugaye song from Mani Ratnam's Iruvar. Madhoo will playing an important role in the film as a writer. Dulquer Salman and Nazriya Nazim play the lead roles. The shooting is currently happening in Munnar. Madhoo will be joining the team from November 17 to shoot her portions. The film is produced by YNot Studios jointly with Radiance Media.
