RRR star Jr NTR aka Tarak will next be seen in a full-fledged Hindi movie alongside Hrithik Roshan. And Tarak is not just joining Bollywood with this move but also YRF's spy universe. Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films which recently basked in the success of their last spy universe movie Pathaan, has officially announced that the next film will be War 2 - a sequel.

The War franchise lead by Hrithik Roshan is part of YRF's spy universe which also has the Tiger franchise lead by Salmaan Khan and the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan. War 2 will be the 6th movie from this world after Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), Pathaan (2023), and the upcoming Tiger 3 which releases in theaters on November 10, 2023. 

Director Ayan Mukerji of Brahmastra: Part One Shiva (2022), Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) and Wake Up Sid (2009) fame will be helming War 2. The movie will see the return of Hrithik as major Kabir Dhaliwal who was last name-dropped in Pathaan. Agent Kabir is officially a traitor according to Indian army and RAW, and was last shown to be in Sydney, Australia and with a minor child under his guardianship.
