National award winning actress Meera Jasmine was one busy bee in the South from early 2000s till 2014. After shifting her focus outside of the film industry for some years, Meera made a comeback to the Malayalam movies in 2022. Now the actress is all set for her next movie in Mollywood, and she is reuniting with her Achuvinte Amma (2005),  Ore Kadal (2007), and Minnaminnikoottam (2008) co-star* Naren for the same. The film has been titled Queen Elizabeth and the first look poster can be seen here:

Queen Elizabeth is scripted by Arjun T Sathyan, who has called the film a 'middle-aged rom-com that has a satirical tone'. The movie is directed by M Padmakumar and also stars Shweta Menon, Ramesh Pisharody, VK Prakash, Shyamaprasad, Johny Antony, Mallika Sukumaran, Jude Anthany Joseph, Arya, Shruthi Rajanikanth, Sania Babu, Neena Kurup, Manju Pathrose, Vineeth Vishwam, Ranji Kankol and Chitra Nair. 

The technical crew of this film includes Ranjin Raj for music, Jithu Damodar for cinematography and Akhilesh Mohan for edits. Queen Elizabeth is produced under the banner Blue Mount Productions. *Meera Jasmine and Naren have also acted alongside each other in the 2014/15 movie Mazhaneerthullikal but the film never got released.
