Vijay Antony's most awaited film Pichaikkaran 2, the sequel to superhit Pichaikkaran is likely to get postponed. The makers who had earlier announced to release the film on April 14, are now looking for alternate dates. Crowded Tamil New Year releases in the month of April, is said to be the main reason the team is now looking for an alternate date.

Sources also claim that Pichaikkaran 2 is likely to release in the month of May. Also starring Kavya Thapar John Vijay, Harish Peraddi, YG Mahendran, Ajay Ghosh, Yogi Babu among others, Pichaikkaran 2 has Vijay Antony playing lead, making directorial debut, composing music and producing the film under his home banner Vijay Antony Film Corporation.
