Rajesh who had given three consecutive hits failed to impress the audience with his recent film All in All Azhagu Raja. He will be teaming up with his 'Boss Engira Baskaran' hero Arya again for a new project. Arya who is cloud nine following the success of Raja Rani and Arrambam has agreed to do a film with director Rajesh next. The actor will be producing the film through his home banner 'The Next Big Film'. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised. 

Arya is eagerly awaiting the release of Selvaragavan's Irandam Ulagam which is set to hit the screens on November 22. His upcoming films include an untitled project with Maghizh Thirumeni and Purampokku produced by UTV where he teams up with Vijay Sethupathi.

Nimirndhu Nil starring Jayam Ravi and Amala Paul in the lead roles is directed by Samuthirakani. The film is a bilingual made in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. Nani and Amala Paul play the lead roles in the Telugu version titled 'Janda Pai Kapiraju'. Music by GV Prakash. The film is produced by Vasan Visual Ventures.

The film shooting has reaches its final stages. Jayam Ravi has tweeted, "Heading to Coimbatore for Nimirndhu Nil final stages of shoot. The movie is reachin you soon." Sandalwood actress Ragini Dwivedi. She will be playing the second heroine in the film. Jayam Ravi plays dual roles in the film -one of a 45-year-old man and the other of a 25-year-old.
