Arya and Vijay Sethupathi's role in Purampokku
'Purampokku' starring Arya and Vijay Sethupathy in the lead roles will be directed by SP Jananathan of 'E' and 'Peranmai' fame. The film will go on floors in January 2014 in Kulu Manali. Vijay Sethupathi will play the role of a railway khalasi while Arya will play the role of a social activist, who has strong principles. The film is produced by UTV.

P. Balasubrahmanyam, Urvashi, Samyuktha Belawadi and Sihi Kahi Chandru play supporting roles. Music score by Ilaiyaraja. The film is produced by Prakash Raj. The second schedule of the film is currently happening in Mysore.

Aadhav Kannadhasan who made his debut in K-Town with 'Ponmaalai Pozhudhu' will be doing a cameo role 'Illa Aanalum Irukku'.
