Malayalam movie Gold is an upcoming action comedy starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara in the lead. The film is directed by Alphonse Puthren of Neram (2013), Premam (2015) fame and earlier today it was officially announced that Gold release date will be out on November 23, 2022 [Wednesday] at 1: 12 PM. MovieCrow learns that Gold will be out in theaters from December 1, 2022 [Thursday]. 

Gold is a movie about incidents that unravel after a mobile shop owner named 'Danger' Joshi (Prithviraj Sukumaran) purchases a new car, for a marriage alliance that is almost fixed with a girl named Radha. The entire story takes place within 4 days of his purchase and Nayanthara plays a character named Sumangali Unnikrishnan in it.

The film produced by Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames is being released in theaters by Magic Frames and overseas by Truth Global Films. The digital and satellite rights of the movie are with Amazon Prime Video OTT platform and Surya TV (Sun Network's Malayalam channel) respectively.

Gold has music by Rajesh Murugesan and Magic Frames Music holds the audio rights.  Anend C Chandran and Viswajith Odukkathil have taken care of  cinematography in the film, whereas director Alphonse Puthren has handled writing, editing, stunts, VFX and animation as well.
