Agent Kannayiram starring Santhanam in the lead is an upcoming mystery comedy thriller that is scheduled to release in theaters on November 25, 2022. A sneak peek video from the movie, which follows Santhanam and his assistant's inquiry of a girl's murder was unveiled by the makers recently. 

Directed by Manoj Beedha of Vanjagar Ulagam fame, Agent Kannayiram is the remake of the Telugu blockbuster Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya [2019] and will see Santhanam play a private detective in a small town. The movie also stars Riya Suman, Cooku With Comali Pugazh, Munishkanth, Redin Kingsley, E Ramdas, Indhumathy, Madhan Dhakshinamoorthy, Aadhira among others.

Agent Kannayiram is produced by Labyrith Films and its technical crew includes Yuvan Shankar Raja for music, Theni Eashwar, Saravanan Ramasamy for cinematography, Rajesh for art, Stunner Sam for stunts, Pallavi Singh for costume design and Ajay for edits.
