Atharva to team up with Manisha Yadhav

Atharva to team up with Manisha Yadhav

Atharva is currently busy shooting for Irumbu Kuthirai, a racy action entertainer directed by Yuvaraj Bose. The film is produced by AGS Entertainments. Music by GV Prakash. The team had wrapped an important schedule in Italy.

Atharva has signed his next film with director Vetrimaran who will be producing the film. The film will be directed by débutante Ravi Arasan. Manisha Yadav of Vazhakku En fame will play the female lead. GV Prakash will score the music. The details regarding the rest of the cast and crew is expected to be revealed soon.

Vishal and Thiru join hands again!

Vishal is eagerly awaiting the release of Pandiya Nadu directed by Suseenthiran which is set to hit the screens on November 2 for Diwali. He will be joining hands with director Thiru again for the third time after Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai and Samar.

Vishal will be producing the film under his home banner Vishal Film Factory. Jai was initially signed for Thiru's next film and looks like Vishal will be doing the film instead of Jai. Lakshmi Menon will be pairiing up with Vishal again after Pandiay Nadu. SS Thaman will be scoring the music.

Heroine of Simbu-Pandiraj film yet to be finalised

The shooting of Simbu Pandiraj film kickstarted on October 21 and the film shooting is progressing at a brisk pace. Soori and Santhanam play supporting cast. The leading lady of the film is yet to be finalised.

Pandiraj has revealed in his microblog that the team is still scouting for a suitable heroine. He had tweeted, "Heroine yarunu innum engalukke theriyala. Angel mathiri oru heroine venum!!!! Waiting!!" The romantic comedy has music by Kuralarasan and is produced by Simbu's home banner.

Santhosh Sivan's Ceylon censored

Santosh Sivan's 'Ceylon' (English) and Inam (Tamil) has been cleared by the censors with U certificate. The film is likely to hit the screens next year. The story is about 4 young boys who get caught in the middle of a Civil war in Sri Lanka and the struggles they come across. Newcomer Vishal Chandrashekar is scoring music for the film and cinematography is handled by Santosh Sivan himself.
