Vadivelu plays double role in Thenali Raman

The shooting of Vadivelu's comeback film Jagajala Pujabala Tenaliraman is progressing at a brisk pace. The first look pictures of JPT featuring Vadivelu was released recently. The latest we hear is that Vadivelu will be playing dual roles in the film as the King and as the court jester Thenali Raman. The film is directed by Yuvaraj of 'Potta Potti' fame. According to the director the story is a fictional one and isn't a biopic or historical on Tenaliraman. The film is produced by AGS Entertainments.

Vijay and Mahat to shoot for opening song

The shooting of Jilla is progressing at a brisk pace. About 80% of the shoot has been completed. Songs and few action sequences are left to finish the entire shoot. The team will be shooting the opening song of the film by the end of this month.

Vijay, Mohanlal and Mahat will be part of the song shoot and a grand set will be erected for the same. Mahat has tweeted, "I'll be joining d sets of Jilla from 31st to shoot for a song with Vijay anna! Excited!" Imman has scored the music. The film is directed by Nesan and produced by RB Choudary.

Malini 22 Palayamkottai audio from November

The path breaking Malayalam film '22 Female Kottayam' is being remade in Tamil and Telugu by yesteryear actress Sripriya. Nithya Menon is playing the lead role in this women centric revenge drama titled 'Malini 22 Palayamkottai'. Vidyullekka Raman, Kovai Sarala play supporting cast. The shooting is almost wrapped and the dubbing work has started. The film's audio will be out in November. Music by Aravind-Shankar. The film is produced by Sripriya's husband Rajkumar Sethupathy.

Santhanam shakes a leg for VTV Ganesh

VTV Ganesh is currently busy wrapping up his own production film 'Inga Enna Solludhu'. VTV Ganesh, Meera Jasmine play the lead roles. Santhanam, Simbu and Andrea play pivotal roles in the film. Santhanam has recently shot for a rap song. The comedy actor had impressed everyone with his dancing skills. He had also completed the song shoot which was initially planned for four days within two days. The film is directed by Vincent Selva.
