It was a star-studded event at Chennai for the Ponniyin Selvan (PS-I) teaser launch, and Lyca Productions have unveiled a nearly 1-hour footage of the evening on their YouTube channel. Except for actor Vikram who was hospitalized for his health and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who resides in Mumbai, most of the Ponniyin Selvan actors and technicians were seen in attendance.

Lyca Productions also unveiled some candid snaps of their star cast and crew that include director Mani Ratnam, music composer AR Rahman, cinematographer Ravi Varman and actors Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Shobita Dhulipala, Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu among others.
